And the Winners Are...

I put all of the people who pledged on my kickstarter into an excel spreadsheet. Those with multiple entries were put in for each entry. did it's thing and we have winners of books and an edit! Here is the order the numbers were drawn along with the names.

65--Dana McKasson

20--Elizabeth Naranjo

57--Angie Taylor

62--Kara Stephenson

7--Phyl Campbell

36--Jennifer Heilpern

71--Terry Broeringmeyer

I'll be emailing all the winners so they can choose which prize they want. Thanks again to everyone who helped make FIM possible by making a pledge!

This is what they will be choosing from:

short story edit from Amie McCracken--editor extraordinaire! This is a comprehensive edit on any story up to 5,000 words. She will read through for story consistency, fact-checking, character and plot, as well as line-by-line editing. After you receive her notes and have a chance to consider them, you can have one round of discussion with her about your story.

A copy of Wilder Mage, book 1 in the Magic Withheld series by CD Coffelt. This is what I think of when I think of Urban Fantasy. Our world with a twist!

A copy of West of Paradise by Marcy Hatch. Don't let the cover fool you, this is the best of science fiction with an old west twist. The scifi parts are great and the westerns part reminded me of my days reading Louie L'Amour in high school.

An e-copy and an Audible copy of Dead Running by Cami Checketts. This is a great romantic suspense novel. Sometimes you just don't know who to trust with your life or your heart. Especially when looks can be deceiving. This book also made me want to start running again.

The Reckoning by Tanya Parker Mills. I've not actually read this one, but it's described as "hard hitting and gritty". It's about a journalist who is captured inside Iraq in 2002. Fiction, but the author grew up in Greece, Turkey, Iraq and Lebanon. It's a "Next Generation Indie Book Award Winner"

Firebird by Kathy Tyers. This is the only book that isn't new, but it was a gem of a find at a local thrift store. Space opera at its best! The fact that the pages are a little yellowed and have that old book smell is a bonus for any print lover.

Darkness by Elizabeth Arroyo. This is a mind bending psychological thriller with a paranormal twist. It's one you won't be able to put down, especially if you like your novels dark. ;)

  1. Congrats to the winners and for the successful fundraiser.
