#AtoZchallenge K is for the Kuiper Belt

This year it's all about science!

K is for the Kuiper Belt--
Pronounced ky-per belt or ki-per. Our solar system is fascinating! Check it out.

Have you ever wished you could gather space debris to create your own planet? You could start here.

  1. Fascinating stuff, Charity. I wouldn't even know where to begin in building my own planet. So, I think I'll try to look after this one :)

    1. Personally, I think that's a great place to start! Very practical and beneficial. If only everyone felt the same.

  2. We could probably build a planet with all the junk we've shot into space...

  3. I think the more we learn about the Kuiper Belt, the more we are going to learn about planetary formation and our own place in the universe although part of me still sees it as an excuse to "demote" Pluto!

    1. Poor Pluto, he's still a planet in my mind. Why can't we just designate any "planetoids" bigger than Pluto as a new planet instead of demoting him?

  4. I wonder. Are there planets being built out there now?

    1. Most definitely! Maybe not in our Kuiper belt, but in others around the universe, there must be.

  5. I haven't wished for space dust to build a planet, but it would be cool to have some. I'd totally show it off and be all 'here's my space dust. It looks like normal dust, but trust me, it's from space.' LMAO
