#AtoZchallenge U is for Uranus

This year it's all about the science!

U is for Uranus--Yes, I went there. Stop giggling and take a few minutes to learn more about the 7th planet in our solar system. ;)
13 rings, 27 moons (all named after Shakespeare characters), a 98 degree axis tilt that means 20 year seasons during it's 84 year trip around the sun.

  1. I had no idea that the planets were all named after Shakespeare characters. Just goes to show, I need to read more Shakespeare (or not) :) Enjoy the last week of the A to Z. I've loved it, even if it has been a bit stressful.

  2. I like to pronounce it the "other" way just to avoid the snickers.

  3. Well, there is another way to pronounce it so that the snickers stop. I love how each planet has a rule as to what to name the moons.
