For the Blogging A to Z challenge, I'm sharing the music of my life. This simply means it has to be a song I chose to upload to my van. I tried to find videos without ads, but that's getting increasingly harder than ever before.
Looking back, I could have posted a Breaking Benjamin song for every day of the challenge. I'm glad I mixed it up though, even if it means you missed some of my favorites.
You may be wondering why I used a Halo montage video for it. I've already told you my family are nerdy geeks. We love games. This video is for my youngest son. The first time he finished Halo (Reach I think, or maybe 3, anyway...) he came to me in tears. When I asked him why, he told me it was just too sad. The hero stays behind and gets killed. This allowed us to have a great conversation about real soldiers and what they do for us, including his uncle who served 20 years in the military. I loved that my son was sensitive enough to understand the sacrifice and let it touch him.

And the first time I watched this video, I thought, "What in the world just happened?" It'll get there, just wait for it.
