Secondly, I love the running analogy, it fits the writing journey perfectly. What is even tougher to handle is when someone overtakes you and you think, 'Hey, that's no fair. I was supposed to get there first!' but like every race, this one's not always fair. <br /><br />In terms of changing from first to third, it makes sense for your genre. The first version of Tangled (then Entwined) was third person but I made the switch to get into my MCs' heads more.
