At this point I don't even care about the word count goal.

Shhhh! Don't tell my region. I'll do my best to still set an example. But I know I'm not going to reach the word count if I don't fall in love with the story.

I'm so glad you guys are so helpful and not afraid to share your opinion. :DCharity Bradfordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01960821077619680661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7762622439282650752.post-8736549986918659072010-11-05T14:42:55.359-05:002010-11-05T14:42:55.359-05:00*nudge* (wouldn't kick you!)

I think the problem is that I need to write both books, but for different reasons.

The current one continues Talia and Landry's story, and I'm hoping that by getting book two finished, my revisions for the first book will take things deeper into the story. I have a sneaky suspicion I'm still just scraping the surface of what it COULD be. :D

I think Nano should be in March. Nothing happens in March. NaNo is a personal experience--no one's going to demand anything from you. For me, NaNo is about butt-in-chair, so I write every night instead of procrastinate. I'm not looking to win, and I won't, but I will be closer to finishing a book, and that's all that matters.
