Way to tackle the hard issues, and to do so with grace and dignity.<br /><br />I've had several women tell me they could never belong to a church in which women are "second-class members." I wish they could live it for a while and realize that there is nothing second-class about it. I'm here to give a blessing, which you can't."<br /><br />It's not like that. We can't both drive the car. We each lead in our own spheres, and while much of that varies from couple to couple, the priesthhod is one area where men are driving. But guess what? I get to be the Mom! I've heard this from multiple friends as well. I think it comes from viewing family from a different perspective. When you think that women have been given the opportunity to nurture, teach and love eternal individuals who will outlive societies, economies, cultures and nations you realize how daunting the task is and how much God must trust us to ensure the future of His children to our care. I'm preparing to do a work that will affect eternity.
