Sweet Sixteen

I finished another cake this weekend. Here it is all set up and delivered. This is the first one that I didn't hang around to see how the people liked it...or didn't. I don't know, and it's killing me. Do you think this is what it will feel like when I know people are reading my book?

Ok, now to pack for camp. I  hope everyone has a great weekend! I'll start up weekend goal setting and reporting next weekend.

  2. Very nice. I'd say the only way to not like the cake is if they didn't like pink. Even I kind of like it and pink is not a color I usually care for. Great looking cake.

  10. Amazing cake Charity! I want some! NOW! om nom nom!

Yes I think it will a bit. Whenever I give some of my work to a friend to read, i resist the urge to watch them read every page while biting my nails. It's tough! Well done on your efforts :)

  11. The cake looks wonderful!

It is a rather odd feeling when you know people are reading your book and you're hoping they like it, but fearful they don't...and then pretty soon you just quit worrying about it. :)

Hope you have an awesome time at camp.

  17. Thanks everyone! I wish I could share some cake with all of you. I did get an email yesterday and Julie said everyone kept talking about how great and delicious it was. So, I'm supper happy about that!

I guess if we wait patiently we will get the feedback we crave.
