Complete and Utter Randomness

Ok, my mind is mush. All I can think about is the fact that in three weeks I'm going to be at our church's Girl's Camp! I'm really excited because its one of my favorite places to be, but I'm also terrified.

I will be in charge of cooking for 150 people all week long. There are some wonderful ladies who are coming to help me, but I don't really know most of them. It's like a week long blind date. My guess is we will be best friends by the end of it.
Last Year

Anyway, I'm cooking stuff every day now in preparation for that week. Cook and Freeze. That's the only thing running through my mind now. Cook and Freeze and find time to send more queries.

I only sent three last week, but have five more almost ready for this week. Some require me to get to Kinkos and make print some copies. My goal is to do that during my daughter's (K) viola lessons today since they are right next to each other.

This morning I ran/walked two miles with my other daughter (A1). It was wonderful to be moving again and we had some interesting conversation. I learned the real reason she wanted to switch bedrooms. Let's just say she didn't want to be by her parent's room any longer.

I don't think I've laughed so much with her in a while because last night her brother (A2) banged on the wall and called out "I can hear you!" It was funny because we were just praying together and then discussing all the things we are worried about with our family.

So anyway, I guess I'm trying to warn you that until Camp is over you shouldn't expect anything deep or amazing from me. :) But I'll be here babbling on as usual.

BTW, I'm still looking for a great vlog idea.

  1. Have a great time at camp! Sounds like a blast, and, at the same time, a lot of work.

  3. Camp is my favorite place in the whole wide world. (Well, I haven't been to your camp, but the general idea of camp.) ;) Good luck coming up with a vlog idea - mindmapping from one lame idea works wonders.

  4. I think you should vlog what it is like being in query hell. The ups...the downs...the thrills that you experience getting requests... :)

  5. It's great that you can have such open conversations with your kids. I hope to always have that as well. Good luck preparing for camp!
