A Tribute to Mom

This will be a short post as I'm living on about 4-5 hours of sleep right now and my brain isn't working right. No reason really. I just don't go to bed early enough and then have to get up at 4:40am. I'm SO ready for summer to get here! Oh! It could be that my 4 yr old keeps crawling into bed with us at 3:30 every morning. Let's just say our bed isn't big enough for all three of us.

Thank you for the sacrifices you make every day for your children. I hope you have a great weekend.

Anyway, I've been thinking about my mom a lot lately. She's applying for a job in my hometown, and I really hope she gets it. I would love to have her close by again. So would my kids.

My mom has always been one of my best friends. Even through the teen years. Yeah, I know that's weird, but I feel really lucky that we  never hated each other. I stayed up waiting for her to come home on the night I first kissed my hubby (I was 18 and I got home before she did on a Sat. night!).

She's always been my example of faith and strength. Her life has not been easy, and yet she keeps moving through it with a smile on her face. Thanks Mom, for being strong for all of us. For believing in us and loving us in spite of the dumb things we did/do growing up.
