Z is for Zee End!

Whew! We survived an entire month of posting alphabetically. I stayed on topic for the most part, didn't miss any days, and enjoyed reading other posts.

My failure for the month came in the form of commenting. I read hundreds of blogs a day but didn't post comments as often as I should have. There have just been too many things going on in my life. The great thing is they are all wrapping up at the same time as this challenge.

I'm closing on my new home this week and moving in. By the time I'm all unpacked and settled the kids will be getting out of school. It will be the end of a very stressful few months and the beginning of a wonderfully busy summer. Most of you know how much I love spending the summer with my kids. That means starting in June my posting will be sporadic at best.

Zee End is never the end though is it? And even a slow posting schedule can bring about some wonderful things. I plan on getting back to reading and posting reviews as well as writing and letting you know how it's progressing.

If you need a tour stop or are just looking for a place to guest post, let me know and we can work something out. Feel free to email me at charity.bradford @ gmail.com.

What was your favorite part of the A to Z Challenge?

  1. And you did great with your theme! One of the best ones that tied in with a book.
Congratulations on the house and hope the move goes well.
Best part of the Challenge is all the new friends I've made.

    1. Thanks Alex! I did make a few new friends in spite of my failure to comment every day. So that was a bonus!

  2. Congrats on the house! This was a fun challenge but more challenging than I thought it would be even though I've done it before. I enjoyed finding new blogs to follow :)

    1. Congrats to you too! I enjoyed your posts even if I didn't comment every day. Your theme was right up my alley.

  4. I definitely noticed a decrease in commenting among my blog and the ones I visited compared to last year. I wondered if my theme wasn't as appealing (last year it was TV which is pretty broad). But I visited all the blogs that were designated WR=writing or BO=books, and a lot in between that seemed like it might be of interest from the title. I wish more blogs had used the categories.

    Congrats on finishing!

    1. Thanks Stephsco! My goal will be to do better next year at actually commenting. That's something I always struggle with though because I don't often have something brilliant to add to what's already been said. ;)

  5. I got to 1,000 blogs - I even commented on about 90% of them. The whole A to Z Challenge thing is so huge. I might need to sleep: my Z is for zzzz but not doing enough of it ;)

  7. So, May's going to be a bit more peaceful?

I guess I liked meeting all sorts of new bloggers.

    1. I hope it will be more peaceful. Perhaps I'll just post twice a week in May and then take June off. :) That sounds like a good plan!
