The last two weeks have felt horribly long thanks to days at home caring for sick kids, broken up only by substitute teaching. There has been no writing. Not really. I did get one wonderful weekend at LDStorymakers Midwesst Writer's Conference. That was heavenly.
While there, I finally got to meet my long time critique partner and soul sister, CD Coffelt. I convinced her to join us, and I think she had as great a time as I did. We shared meals but took different classes. That means Unicorn Bell will benefit doubly from our experience! By the way, her second book, MAGE REVEALED, comes out in October.
I have a guest spot scheduled for tomorrow, but today I wanted to make sure you heard about this...
It starts on Sept. 26th and you can learn more and sign up for FREE Here.
Just say no to the flu!
ReplyDeleteCool you got to meet Carol. She's just awesome.
I know! And I was so proud of her talking with everyone because I know how much of an introvert she is. She was fantastic!
DeleteThat's so cool you guys got to meet up :)
ReplyDeleteHopefully the kiddos are better now. How did the subbing go? I'm all anxious to hear.
ReplyDeleteI have totally had weeks like this -- well, not with the sick kids, but with the not getting as much or any writing done . I hope next week is more productive for you!
ReplyDeleteYou know things are bad when you're "thankful" that you're suffering allergies. Looks like you had a great time at the conference. Thanks for the heads up on the Iowa course.
